Stuart and Regula welcome you to De Bos, Montagu, Klein Karoo, Route 62,
Western Cape, South Africa. De Bos Guest Farm is a 7 hectar farm on the outskirts
of the small Karoo town of Montagu. De Bos is a working farm, specialising in the cultivation
of Pecan nuts. Peacocks, Guinea fowl and Chickens roam the farm freely
and three Ostriches, Horses, Ponies and a Donkey are kept in various fields,
if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of a M ongoose, Hare, Duiker or even a Giant Tortoise
that wander through the lower end of the farm. Many different Birds can be seen
along the river or at the small Biotop.
Montagu is a ROCK CLIMBING PARADICE with OVER 300 BOLTED ROUTES at all grades,
all within walking distance of De Bos and good climbing weather most of the year.
We offer a variety of accomodation, self-catering rooms and bungalows,
B&B, back packers barn and camping.Guided climbs are available ( booking essential ) and local information. Montagu is also host to the Cogmans Rock Rally, with over 100 bolted routes to pit yourself against.
Yes there is a swimming pool.
